Hari Raya Cards, Today, we see many people sending Hari Raya wishes via e-cards, but that does not mean that traditional greeting cards have lost their charm.
“I prefer to convey Hari Raya wishes the traditional way. A Raya greeting card can be held, folded, and stored as a memorable item,” mentioned one person.
“I chose a traditional Raya greeting card as it is a classical way of sending your wishes,” said another.
For some, a Raya greeting card is “special and contains messages written in interesting styles,” whereas for others, a greeting card provide a human touch and helps to strengthen family ties.
These were some of the comments made by people when Bernama enquired if they were sending Raya wishes via Short Message Service (SMS) or Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) to their friends on Facebook.
Surprisingly, many people mentioned that they prefer to send traditional Raya greeting cards to their kith and kin.
Very few people said they would send Hari Raya wishes via SMS or MMS. These people mentioned that they would send SMS or MMS if the recipient was younger than them. The reason why many prefer to send traditional greeting cards is because there is an element of human touch.
