As usual, the Palace did not want to comment on this film object. But experts royalty expect it to be less well received than was the Stephen Frears film The Queen in 2006.
Obviously aware of the challenge and defensive, Naomi Watts showed some excitement in recent weeks during his tour of promotion. Wednesday to leave the studio BBC Radio 5 full interview. Calling it “huge pressure” is interpreted “as an icon,” the British-born Australian actress had also hesitated to accept the role.
Some critics have found a random similarity. “It is anyway much older,” they noted. “I was hoping it would look more like Diana, like Meryl Streep who looked a lot like Margaret Thatcher” outbid a Londoner.
To compensate, the actress had yet spent hours trying to slip into the skin of his character up to live in front of Kensington Palace, the residence of the deceased.
