Debunking A Saggy Bra Myth, Need a lift? Don’t count on your brassiere to offer much support. Results of a 15-year study suggest that wearing a bra doesn’t prevent sagging, reports Popular Science. “Breasts gain no benefit from being denied gravity,” said study author Jean-Denis Rouillon. “On the contrary, they get saggier with a bra.” Wha-huh? Rouillon explains that supporting tissue stops growing and “will eventually wither” in the bosom of bra-wearers. While we’re not ready to completely toss off our undergarments just yet, going sans bra every once in a while doesn’t seem so bad.
